History QURIAPY ALPACA

My name is Haydee Taylor, I discovered my passion for alpaca a few years ago. I was born and raised in Peru, growing in my country I did not know so much about alpacas as I do now. During my journey learning about alpaca fleece, yarn, I realised that hundreds of thousands of alpaca growers in Peru live in extreme poverty. That is when I decided to work together with alpaca growers and artisans in Peru. I have been working since 2019 with different alpaca growers in the departments of Arequipa, Cuzco, Puno, Ayacucho, Huancavelica.Alpaca fleece is transformed to yarn by the own alpaca growers , this yarn is use to make beautiful items on different ways such as, knitting, crochet, weaning, to finally obtain, scarfs, gloves, socks, mittens, hats, shawls, ponchos, ruanas and much more.
